Job Description
As the Head of Growth, you will lead the strategy, systems, and team responsible for scaling Otsy’s user base and creator ecosystem. You will shape high-impact campaigns, develop our brand’s reach, and build the growth engine that turns new users into loyal travelers and community advocates.
You will work cross-functionally with product, engineering, marketing, content, and design to drive campaigns, optimize performance, and strengthen Otsy’s position as the future of social travel.
Problems You Will Solve
- Own and execute a full-funnel growth strategy: Define and launch multi-channel initiatives across paid acquisition, SEO, influencer programs, referral pipelines, and lifecycle marketing
- Scale performance marketing channels: Improve results across paid search, paid social, retargeting, and media partnerships with a focus on CAC, LTV, ROAS, and retention
- Lead brand voice and messaging strategy: Build scalable frameworks that unify how Otsy speaks to travelers, creators, and partners across all campaigns and touchpoints
- Develop systems that drive activation and retention: Collaborate with product and engineering to identify drop-off points and run experiments that improve user stickiness and lifecycle engagement
- Amplify creator and community-driven growth: Partner with influencers, creators, and ambassadors to build organic reach and activate viral loops
- Build and lead a high-performance team: Hire and mentor growth and marketing specialists while creating a data-informed, impact-driven culture
- Design and report on key growth metrics: Track and communicate KPIs across acquisition, engagement, referrals, and retention to inform decisions and board-level updates
All About You:
- Experience: 5 or more years of experience in startup, marketplace, or high-growth environments with a track record of building and owning growth systems from zero to one.
- Leadership: Experience scaling teams and managing cross-functional collaboration with high standards of accountability, creativity, and autonomy.
- Growth tools and systems: Fluency in performance platforms like Meta Ads and Google Ads, analytics tools like GA, Amplitude, or Mixpanel, and CRM systems like Salesforce.
- Strategic and operational: You think big and execute fast. You can prioritize long-term bets while also delivering weekly campaign wins.
- Creative meets analytical: Strong grasp of positioning, storytelling, and copywriting combined with deep comfort with data, metrics, and experimentation.
- Execution mindset: Highly organized and self-driven with strong project management skills and the ability to work through ambiguity.

Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly compensation based on skill level and experience. Comprehensive benefits package offered to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
