Both under normal conditions and in the event of an emergency, the following abilities are required: Full autonomy; Tolerance to impacts and other sudden movements; Ability to ascend and descend 300 meters of stairs; Ability to climb and hold onto rocks using upper and lower limbs in good condition; Ability to hear, see, understand, and relay rescue instructions from the crew; Ability to verbally describe one's condition and location; Ability to maintain breathing under the mist of the falls; Tolerance to sensory overload.
Restrictions for the GREAT ADVENTOUR TOUR : For safety reasons, the following individuals are not permitted to participate in this activity: Children under 12 years of age Pregnant women Individuals with osteoporosis, spinal problems or similar conditions Individuals with a history of heart conditions or neurological disorders Individuals with chronic lung diseases Any person with physical, cognitive, and/or sensory disabilities who is unable to respond appropriately in the event of an emergency in the fast-moving waters of the Lower Iguazú River Important: It is mandatory to present a valid identification document proving the minimum boarding age (12 years) in order to participate in this service.
We recommend bringing an extra change of clothes in a backpack, as you may get wet during the Grand Adventure Boat Tour.
