The Sahara desert is not an excursion from Marrakech. The distance makes us need to travel to Merzouga and return, so we need at least one night on the way if we really want to enjoy the desert. Then, we can contemplate the sunrise and the sunset and enjoy the tranquility. You have also, the whole afternoon to carry out all kinds of activities; buggies, sandboard, dromedaries, etc.
