Day 01: Air travel from Kathmandu to Lukla & trek to Phakding: 25 minutes flight + 3 hours trek. First day of the Everest Base Camp Trek, trekkers will fly to Lukla from the domestic flight section. After a nerve-cracking 25-minute flight, we arrive at Lukla. We will see the views of Everest region filling you with hints of what’s next to come. After sightseeing for some time, we begin trekking to Phakding (2650 meters). We will walk past forests, Buddhist monasteries and many more memorable marks of this place. If we are lucky enough and the weather is clear, we will see Kanguru Peak (6367 meters). We will stay the night in Phakding after having dinner here.
