Proper hiking boots are required for this glacier hike to ensure safety and comfort on the ice. The boots must have good ankle support and sturdy soles so that crampons can be securely attached. If you do not have suitable hiking boots, rentals are available on site for €13 per pair. Please note that sneakers, running shoes, or soft footwear are not suitable for glacier hiking. Wearing proper boots is essential for participating in the activity safely.
