Although Space Center Houston (SCH) has extended hours during the summer, the standard hours of operation are from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, only 7 hours per day. The travel time to and from SCH is another 1.0 to 1.25 hours. We want to arrive as soon as SCH opens to avoid the queues and maximize your ability to see as much as possible. If we start later in the day, we will not have sufficient time to go on both tram rides and enjoy all of the activities.
